On Monday, we folded our paper into 4 sections and labeled them adverbs, adjectives, verbs, and nouns. As they read in their AR books, students are to find "wonderful words," words that intrigue them, sound interesting, etc. In parentheses, they are to write a synonym for their wonderful word.
We talked about how three in each category would equal a C, 4-5 a B, and 5 or more an A. This assignment is due Friday.
