We have lots of important information going home today! Please read through the orange communication folder carefully. You will find our May newsletter and your child's Writing Test scores. Please keep these at home. You will also find a progress report to sign and return. Please sign the weekly log in the folder. There are NO signed papers this week since we didn't do much graded/written work during the CRCT week.

Please pay careful attention to the weekly AR & AM goals. Some students are doing really well, but we're afraid that others will be disappointed at the end of the year when they are unable to participate in several very fun activities.

For homework:

Work on spelling categories (due Thurs.).

Make any AM corrections.

*Please send in a clean, empty jar with lid by Fri. Plastic jars would be great, but any kind/size will do. Thanks!

Today's reading CRCT seemed to go well. The students reported that they felt well prepared, so hopefully they all did well! We still need one day's worth of snacks for 26 students if anyone can send them in. Thank you!

Welcome back! We hope that you all had a wonderful spring break!

The CRCT is coming in just two short weeks. It is especially important that your child complete all assignments and get caught up/stay on top of school work. We're getting ready for the Super Bowl of Academics!

Our poetry genre project was assigned today, and each student received a handout explaining the project, complete with a rubric for how the project will be graded. This genre project counts as two reading test grades and is due no later than 5/4.
