This week, each night you are going to use the S-W-B-S-T summarizing format to respond to what has happened in your independent reading book (AR book). Remember, this strategy means:
S- Someone
W- wanted
B- but
S- so
T- then
You will have at least four different summaries (Mon., Tu., Wed., and Thurs.) to turn in on Friday to summarize what you have read independently this week. You may find it easier to summarize each chapter that you read when you get to the end of the chapter.
