Recognition & Congratulations
*Congratulations to Emma and Kaila H. for meeting their nine weeks’ AM goals already!
*Congrats to our November Book-It pizza coupon winners: Emma, Bryan, Madison, Levi, Chase, Hannah P., Sara, Will D., Eddie, and Amber!
*We’d like to welcome Hannah Hollbrooks to our class!
*Happy birthday this month to Billy (8th), Eddie (11th), Kolby (16th), and Chase (31st).

Upcoming Events
*Our holiday craft day will be Friday, Dec. 5, from 8:30-10:30. We could use a few extra hands, so please let us know if you can help. Thanks!
*Our holiday party will be a brunch held on Wednesday, December 17, at 10:00. Students are encouraged to wear their pajamas to school this day. If you can send in something, please let us know. We’d appreciate the help.
*Each student will be making a “stocking” so if you can, please send in inexpensive stocking stuffers. (See the next post for more info.)

Don’t Forget
*Please make sure your child knows how to go home if school dismisses early. Also, please make arrangements so that you will know if school lets out early; we cannot be responsible for calling parents.
*With the temperatures dropping, it is important that students are appropriately dressed for outdoor play. Without coats, students will not be able to go out on cold, windy days. As windy as our hill is, consider wearing earmuffs and/or scarves.

Extra! Extra!
*If your child has fallen behind on meeting his or her weekly AR or AM goals, you can help! S/he needs to read each night if behind in AR and work on some AM (even if the assignment does not get completed) to help get caught up in AM. Students should currently be working on AM objectives #89-99. (The objectives on the AM assignment are listed at the top of the page.)
*In signed papers for 12/2, you will find an individual student report (called “History report for Student”) for the Georgia Online Assessment, which are practice CRCT tests. The scoring results are as follows:
0%-50%: Did not meet expectations
51%-75%: Minimally met expectations
76%-100%: Exceeded expectations
Please look carefully at your child’s progress so far, and let us know if you have any questions. You can go online at www.georgiaoas.org to review these tests. Your child’s ID# is in the front of the agenda. The password is student.
